CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BEGINNER
CLASS
This
class is for students new to track cycling and for those that
may have some experience at the velodrome but don’t ride
multiple laps on the “blue line”. The emphasis is on having fun
and learning the basic skills for getting on track. The desire
to become a bike racer is not necessary - only the desire to
experience riding on the track. Participants receive an award
certificate upon completion.
SPORT GROUP
This class is for those who want to improve their riding skills
beyond the beginning class.
It is a stepping stone from intermediate skill to
development of the skills needed for racing and the Advanced
Class.
ADVANCED PRACTICE
This class is for those who currently race or are interested in
racing. Focus is on continued learning of track skills and
racing skills.
Students must be CC Beginner Class graduate and able to ride
multiple laps on the track.

"My goal is to provide a program that
enhances a child's health and physical abilities and encourages
them to strive for their own personal best. Not only do they
learn new cycling skills but participants will also learn about
things like fair play, perseverance, and camaraderie." -
